We perform an initial inspection of the material upon arriving at our shop, then provide a quote Based on SqFt rates found in the info packet. After measuring all your pieces we will be able to provide an accurate price. This gets compared to the cut list you might have provided to us.

All materials get pre-sanded regardless of whether or not your shop sands or not. We utilize various grits to achieve an ultra smooth finish. Our preparation process provides the best possible finish for your millwork. 

For stain projects, preparation is project dependent and can vary based on the variety of wood, the cut and the products used. We will use various methods to condition certain wood types in order to achieve a blotch free application. 

When sanding veneers we extremely careful in what grits are used and how much sanding is happening so to not burn through. If burn through happens we bring this to your attention and ensure the door gets repaired at our cost.

We ensure any joinery is sanded so to avoid lines on faces of your cabinet doors.

We perform thorough light inspections before, between and after all coatings. Not much falls through the cracks. Its quite simple actually:

• We ensure there is no product bridging where it shouldn't.
• We ensure any cracks, scratches, nicks, lifting veneer or dents are repaired.
• If grain filling is requested, we will use a grain filling primer. This will not hide all the grain but will make it less prominent. 
• All doors get decontaminated and ready to apply next primer coat or top coat.

We then Prime again to seal any repairs and burn through. Applying a stain blocking primer at this stage to lock back tannin's. A vinyl sealer may be used to provide the same result. 

For staining projects, we use various methods, which are project dependent to apply stain to order to achieve the desired result. A sample is first created and approved prior to beginning. This sample is used as a reference piece, this ensures all pieces stay consistent. 

For glazing we apply a custom base color, clear coat then apply a custom glaze. Wiping, brushing, and removing glaze in order to achieve the desired finish. Samples are created and an approval is required prior to beginning.

In the coatings phase we ensure all doors are decontaminated as we go. This procedure ensures the contamination free finish that we guarantee.

Solid color finishes will be tinted in specified colors using Renner lacquers to achieve a highly durable finish. Clear coats can be added for further durability. Ask us for a sample of the product so you can see for yourself.

Stain and advanced finishes will receive a 3 coat system 1 sealer coat, 2 lacquer clear coats using Renner.

Each piece of cabinetry goes through rigorous inspection to ensure nothing leaves our shop that we aren't 100% satisfied with. 

All cabinet pieces are packaged individually with foam separating according to size, adding cardboard for larger pieces. Ensuring they can be handled easily by 1 person if possible. We do offer delivery services at an additional rate but typically shops will pickup finished materials themselves.

Each project is unique and often requires quick turn around. While we have a quick turnaround we do require a heads up on project timelines so that we can ensure we will be able to meet them, or if we need extra time. In the end whats important is your project receiving the full attention to detail that we promise.
